Both walks begin at Havenhills Farm. They pass through small valleys, beside hidden streams, along woodland paths, across private pastures and sweeping expanses of farmland. Both routes are easily manageable but with some steep uneven steps and across rough pastures, not suitable for buggies or wheels of any kind. Dogs are welcome on the 15k route if kept on a lead.

The Start

The walks both start and end at Havenhills Farm, TF11 9NR

where you will need to register before the start.

Registration from 7.15am, safety briefing at start of each walk.

25k walkers depart at 8am, 15k walkers depart at 9am.

You will be given directions as well as a cup of tea or coffee and a snack.

You will need to self clip at certain check points along the route.

There will be refreshments check points on both routes

where tea/coffee and cake will be provided.

Information

In order to minimise our environmental impact please bring your own mug for hot drinks and a water bottle. We will have a water bottle filling station

available at all of the refreshment points.

We will be taking photos throughout the event which we may use for future publicity, please let us know if you would rather not be photographed.

No entries will be accepted on the day of the event.

Dogs are allowed on the 15k walk only, but must be kept on a lead at all times.

​Cost

The entry fee is £15 for adults and children go free.

£12.50 early bird tickets are available

Cakes and refreshments will be provided along the route and there will be an opportunity to purchase bbq food and salads at the end of the walk.

Suggested Equipment

OS explorer map 242, a compass, whistle, first aid kit, waterproofs, water bottle,

mug, sun cream, snacks.

Mobile phone reception intermittently reliable.
